Strengthening the Bond Among the Region's Leaders
| |
Regional Leadership Programs
There are nine community leadership programs throughout the region. Each program selects approximately 25 to 50 leaders from their community to participate in networking and community knowledge-building programs. Participants attend monthly sessions that explore vital local or regional issues. Most leadership programs are for established leaders; some offer training programs for emerging leaders (ages 25 to 35) or high school students. All programs look for applicants from diverse backgrounds (including the nonprofit community). After graduation, participants use their expanded knowledge to serve their community in volunteer leadership roles.
