We invite you to join your LGW colleagues as we give back to the region with the Capital Area Food Bank on Tuesday, June 19. Hunger affects every single neighborhood in our region. It impacts people of every age, race, religion, and ethnicity. Hunger robs children of a chance to learn, undermines health, and makes getting and holding good jobs hard. Help LGW play a role in eliminating hunger in our region.
Volunteers will receive a brief orientation introducing new volunteers to the Capital Area Food Bank and detailed description and instructions of the project prior to the activity. LGW volunteers will be assigned to pack and sort food donations. Volunteers should be prepared to stand for 90 minutes at a time with some light lifting and bending.
