Tuesday, September 19-Innovation In Non-Profits
Join Emily Allen ('14) and Naj Uddin ('16) for a member salon that will focus on how AARP Foundation as a non-profit, implements a rigorous innovation and human centered design process to identify, prototype, test and scale solutions that increase economic opportunity and social connections for older adults in poverty.
During this interactive session, you will learn how to use innovation and lean start-up methodologies and discover how solutions for partnering with for-profits and non-profits helps advance evidenced-based solutions.

Tuesday, September 19- Master the Media: A Training with Sage Communications
Since media is a part of daily business proceedings and leadership, Sage's media training is centered on developing your own natural innate strengths as a public speaker and stripping away habits and misconceptions that will derail your success. This session will be tailored to the demands of your audience, your outreach goals, and individual needs. Participants will walk away with the skills to master any media interview, company presentation, or lecture.

Tuesday, September 19-The Art of Pie Making
Meet Ris Lacoste's ('17) new pastry chef, Aja Cage, recently named Pastry Chef of the Year by Baltimore Magazine. Aja will teach you the art of pie making from her award winning hands, by demonstrating crusts and fillings, assembly and secret pie baking tips. The baking class will have a sweet finish, concluding with a pie and ice cream tasting session.
