Monish is a Partner with Columbia Capital, a venture firm focusing on digital infrastructure, enterprise technology and mobility.  Columbia has invested in entrepreneurs who have built some of the largest and most significant platforms in the communications sector.  Monish focuses on mobility investments, including opportunities in satellite communications, wireless services and critical infrastructure. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Hellen Systems, High Band Holdings, N77 Holdings, Omnispace, Quvia, Siden, and Three Forty-Five. Prior to joining Columbia Capital, Monish was Senior VP of Corporate Development for Mobile Satellite Ventures (now Ligado) where he was responsible for leading both the company's spectrum coordination initiatives and strategic partnerships. Monish previously held positions in private equity with Madison Dearborn and as an executive with broadband, wireless, and satellite service providers.

Outside of Columbia, Monish is involved with non-profit organizations focused on jobs, infrastructure and education in the greater Washington DC area.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Venture Capital Association, Building Bridges Across the River and Planet Word.  Monish holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. degree from the Wharton School.
