Lauralyn Lee serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff at Washington National Cathedral, where she helps lead one of the nation's most prominent faith and civic institutions. Working across governance, strategy, operations, communications, and public engagement, she has helped guide the Cathedral through a period of significant organizational transformation, including strategies that doubled earned revenue since 2019, supported a comprehensive campaign that raised more than $185 million, expanded the Cathedral's digital ministry to approximately 300,000 online engagements each month, and strengthened the institution's long-term sustainability.

Throughout her career, Lauralyn has helped mission-driven organizations navigate periods of growth and change. Before joining the Cathedral, she founded a women-owned strategic consulting practice advising non-profit leaders on governance, planning, and organizational effectiveness. Her clients locally included George Mason University, George Washington University, Georgetown University, the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, the International Spy Museum, and the Crimsonbridge Foundation. Lauralyn came to this work after nearly two decades at Georgetown University, where she first served as a senior attorney and later led the University's community engagement work.

Dedicated to expanding educational opportunity and strengthening communities, Lauralyn serves on the boards of Leadership Greater Washington and the Cristo Rey Network. She previously chaired the boards of Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School and the Academy of Hope, and has served in volunteer leadership roles with SpurLocal, the Georgetown Business Improvement District, the Duke Law Alumae Advisory Board and St. Columba’s Church.

Lauralyn’s local service has been recognized by the Washington Business Journal as a 2025 Women Who Mean Business, the Citizens Association of Georgetown, the Georgetown BID, Georgetown University Athletics, and the Academy of Hope. 

A graduate of Arizona State University and Duke University of Law, Lauralyn lives in Washington, D.C., and is the proud mother of two daughters.
