Mike Tryon is a partner at RSM US LLP. For over 30 years, he has devoted his efforts exclusively to providing financial management services to charitable organizations, trade and professional associations, taxable subsidiaries, foundations, pension plans, political action committees, and those with special governmental requirements.
Mr. Tryon is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast with particular interest in English Premier League Soccer and Formula 1 racing. While attending The Catholic University of America, he was captain of its then Division I baseball team. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins Baseball Organization where he played for two years in their minor league system. He is also a member of The Catholic University of America Athletic Hall of Fame.
Mr. Tryon regularly advises Boards of Directors and senior management about issues associated with new or current accounting, audit, tax standards and other issues affecting tax-exempt organizations. He also provides counsel about operational efficiencies and financial controls, strategies for minimizing unrelated business income tax, and cost effective technology applications. He is known for his ability to communicate practical solutions to complex financial issues.
