Rachel Kronowitz is a Founding Partner of the law firm, Gilbert LLP. She has been honored by the Washington Business Journal as a Woman Who Means Business and by Business Insurance as a Woman to Watch. She has also been named as “Best of the Best” by Expert Guides as one of the 30 best insurance and reinsurance practitioners in the world. A graduate of Leadership Greater Washington’s Class of 2015, Rachel is Board Chair of Safe Shores – the Children’s Advocacy Center and sits on the Executive Committee of the Catalogue for Philanthropy. She is also a former Board Chair of the Washington Area Women’s Foundation. Rachel lives in Washington, DC with her husband Mark Lewis, a teacher in the DC Public School System, and her two children, Daniel and Tessa.
